Blog Web and Social Assets
Summary
The blog is a core top-of-funnel channel for thought leadership and qualified interest; posts are repurposed as an evergreen social stream. As Brand Designer, I built a reusable visual system for Dixa’s blog, website hero/thumbnail images and social post templates, turning articles into clear, on-brand assets for web and evergreen social.
Snapshot
- Role: Brand Designer (design & art direction)
- Partners: Content Marketing
- Tools: Figma
- Deliverables: Website hero & thumbnails, social post templates with multiple formats/content depths
Challenge
Create engaging, on-brand visuals that distill complex topics into thumb-stopping, sound-off friendly assets, keep pace with a fast publishing cadence, and stay consistent across web and social.
Approach
- Content Formats: Developed variations like summary carousels, visual snippets, and data pullouts to inform and engage audiences.
-
Visual Patterns: Defined consistent hook → key takeaway → CTA structures with stat tiles, quotes, and color accents for fast scanning.
-
Figma System: Built a modular library of heroes, thumbnails, and social variants to scale blog visuals while keeping the brand cohesive.
-
Content Collaboration: Partnered with Content Marketing to review copy, A/B test creative directions, and apply insights to future posts.
Outcomes
Adopted as the standard for blog visuals, the blog content system delivered a steady pipeline of website heroes/thumbnails and evergreen social posts. It shortened time-to-publish, reduced edit cycles, and improved brand consistency and accessibility across 1:1, 4:5, and 9:16.
